The headline in the Livermore paper, " The Valley Times", today (April 26th), read “Bay Area housing recovery spreads from Silicon Valley to East Bay” Wow! I have been saying this for over a year now. It seems silly now to see this announced in the paper like it’s a surprise. I’ve heard three people this week talk about another real estate“bubble”. Whether this is s a bubble or not, the fact remains that we have a very low inventory of homes, strong buyer demand, and little competition from new home builders.
If you are looking for a better time to sell, you won’t find it. These are three of the best reasons why Sellers moving out of area should consider selling now. Buyer demand and inventory woes are not going away quickly. As long as new home building does not ramp up in this area, you will see Sellers flourish. Prices have risen dramatically. Properly preparing a home today brings huge dividends. Resist just putting a home on market. A 4,000 to $6,000 investment can bring an additional $70k in purchase price.
